Seminary Women
Seminary Women meet monthly throughout the academic year for fellowship, instruction, and encouragement. Faculty wives, student wives, and women students are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity for fellowship and personal growth. Please join us!
CALENDAR OF EVENTS
Over the 2009-2010 academic year, Seminary Women will be studying Disciplines of a Godly Woman, by Barbara Hughes. We will read and discuss 2 chapters each month, September through April. This is a thought-provoking book that is well-suited to discussion, with the potential to help us examine ourselves and hone the application of Scripture in many aspects of our lives.
Pittsburgh is getting a lot of snow! Unfortunately, we had to postpone our meeting and then cancel it altogether for February. That was a disappointment, but better than sliding around on the roads when we didn’t really NEED to be out there.
Our next meeting is March 8, 6-8 pm in the basement classroom. We will be discussing Chapter 10, Discipline of the Church, and Chapter 14, Discipline of Good Deeds, from Disciplines of a Godly Woman. We will spend a few minutes going back to the two topics we missed this month, also, Perseverance, and Nurturing. Perseverance is especially something I want to touch on.
