A quarter hour is ordinarily based on class work of fifty minutes per week for a total of 11 weeks in the quarter.

A grade point is the measure of quality assigned to or withheld from the unit of credit according to the following system of grades.

Grades
A (90-100) - means Excellent and carries 4 grade points per quarter credit hour.

B (80-89) - means Good and carries 3 grade points per quarter credit hour.

C (70-79) - means Fair and carries 2 grade points per quarter credit hour.

D (60-69) - means Unsatisfactory and carries 1 grade point per quarter credit hour.

F (below 60) - means Failing and does not carry a grade point.

INC - means Incomplete and indicates that part of the required work for the quarter has not been completed. The grade for a course in which an INC is given will be reduced automatically one grade point. An INC not removed within six weeks of the opening of the following quarter will ordinarily be averaged as F. Seniors who take an INC must complete the work within six weeks of Commencement. A $25.00 fee will be assessed for any course in which a graduating Senior receives an INC Veterans’ benefits do not apply to repeated courses or the makeup of incompletes.

P/F - means Pass or Fail in Practicum courses in the Department of Pastoral Theology.
