Academic Load

The academic year is divided into three quarters of approximately eleven weeks each. The average schedule for a full-time students is fifteen quarter hours.

A student may not take more than sixteen quarter hours of credit without special permission of the faculty. Students who find it necessary to earn a part or all of their expenses are encouraged to reduce their program of studies accordingly. They may extend their program for an additional year or more. Twelve hours of course work will be considered a minimum academic load for those enrolled as regular full-time students.
