Professor Emeritus Dr. J. Renwick Wright Passed on to Glory October 8

Pittsburgh, PA - Octrober 10, 2009 - Beloved Professor Emeritus of New Testament Studies for RPTS, Dr. J. Renwick Wright, passed on to glory Thursday evening, October 8, 2009.  He served the Seminary from 1978 to 1993.

Viewing will be at Hill and Kunselman Funeral Home, 3801 4th Avenue, Beaver Falls, Pa., 15010, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. this Lord's Day, October 11.

The funeral will be at First Reformed Presbyterian Church, 209 Darlington Rd., Beaver Falls, Pa., 15010, at 2 p.m., on Monday, October 12.  Viewing also will be at the church from noon to 2 p.m. before the funeral.

The burial will immediately follow the funeral at the Reformed Presbyterian Cemetery in New Galilee, Pa.

Gifts in honor of Dr. Wright are being asked to be made to the Reformed Presbyterian Theological Seminary.

"We give praise to God for the life and service of this dear saint, and take comfort in knowing we will see him in the bosom of the Father," said RPTS President Jerry O'Neill.
