RPTS TO HOST OPEN HOUSE OCTOBER 16
(Pittsburgh, Pa.) September 22, 2009 – The Reformed Presbyterian Theological Seminary (RPTS) in Point Breeze will host an open house event on Friday, October 16, from 8:20 a.m. to 5 p.m. for those who are considering a call to ministry and graduate theological studies.
Participants will get a tour of the mansion campus, sit in on classes, visit with professors and students, explore financial aid options, and learn about curriculum and requirements for its Master of Divinity and Master of Theological Studies degrees, as well as various certificates.
Open House Schedule:
8:20 a.m. Refreshments, President’s welcome
8:55 a.m. Doctrine of God class
9:50 a.m. Chapel
10:30 a.m. Introduction to Reformed Theology class
11:25 a.m. Intertestamental Period class
12:20 p.m. Lunch with students and faculty
1:00 p.m. Tour of Mansion Campus and Biblical Counseling Institute
2:00 p.m. Meet with Admissions Director for Application and Financial Aid information and advice
3:00 p.m. Sight seeing in Pittsburgh
5:00 p.m. Dinner
Open House guests also are invited to participate in the Reformation Society of Pittsburgh’s Fall Conference on Saturday, October 17, held at RPTS, for a special discounted rate of $5 per person (a $20 savings). The event, entitled “Mystery of the Kingdom”, runs from 8:30 a.m. to noon. Guest speaker is Rev. Edward Donnelly, a pastor and professor from Belfast, Northern Ireland.
