REFORMED PRESBYTERIAN THEOLOGICAL SEMINARY ANNOUNCES NEW HIRE, NEW POSITIONS

(Pittsburgh) – May 20, 2010 – The Reformed Presbyterian Theological Seminary (RPTS) in Point Breeze announces the hire of Mrs. Bethany Hardwig to fill the newly created and dual part-time positions of marketing specialist for RPTS and office manager for the RPTS Biblical Counseling Institute. 

Hardwig will report to the director of development and communications, and her duties will include writing and design support for marketing and development materials and media and public relations, including for the seminary’s website and online communication initiatives.  She also will report to the director of the RPTS Biblical Counseling Institute, providing administrative support.A recent graduate of Geneva College in business administration and marketing with a minor in communications, Hardwig previously worked as a student admissions counselor for her Alma mater, and a sales associate and studio photographer for Target.  She served as an intern for the RPTS development and communications department in 2009.

Hardwig resides in Point Breeze with her husband, Patrick, who will begin studying full-time in the RPTS master of divinity major this fall as part of the Geneva College-RPTS “3-3” cooperative program.  Bethany Hardwig is the youngest daughter of RPTS President Dr. Jerry O’Neill.
